Aesthetic images have been trending for some time now over the Tumblr and Pinterest communities. You might not know it, but you probably have an aesthetic. There are YouTube videos online that could help you determine what your aesthetic is. Here is a list of some.

PLAIN Not really having a name, the plain aesthetic usually consists of one word or a phrase in its photos. It usually has 1 color or 2 for its text; and uses light colors. It tries to show a 3D effect by making 1 layer of the text stick out slightly from behind. The background is also usually a light color.

GLITCH The glitch effect is an effect where 2 different RGB colors are used as a double exposure to glitch images.

LO-FI lofi is an aesthetic that usually uses screenshots from animes, cartoons, and more. The color schemes usually range between pastel colors. Lofi is made to be low quality on purpose for an older vibe.

VHS VHS is another aesthetic edit that centers around old records and and VHS tapes. You would often see the effect used in lo-fi videos on YouTube. It usually has cartoons with bright colors so the effect looks visually pleasing to most people.

VAPORWAVE Vaporwave is a genre of aesthetic images that usually center around bright colors like pink. It features pictures of Greek statues, old computers, and pixelated images.
